How far along? 38 Weeks 2 Days A date has been set :)
Total weight gain: 22 pounds
Body Changes? I think at this point everything will pretty much remain the same until the end. I have a huge belly and am retaining a small bit of water. Everywhere I go people always say "You are def having a boy huh" which makes me laugh. Someone today asked me if I had lost weight because my face looks so tiny lol Strange thing to say to someone who is about to have a baby but of course always nice to hear.
Sleep: Been going to bed early. Peeing all night long and very thirsty. Some days are tougher than others, especially since it has been raining a lot.
Best moment this week: Going to the doctor with Steve. Got some news I wasn't expecting. I tested positive for strep B which I didn't have with Max but I have this time around. All it means is that I will have to be hooked up to an antibiotic IV when I give birth so the baby can't get it and get sick. It also means I can't get my membranes stripped which is what I really wanted. So instead we have set an induction date for May 2nd which is this coming Monday! We will put Max to bed and head to the hospital to get induced. It is so nice to know there is an end in sight!
Baby Gender: BOY!!!
Food Cravings: milk with hershey sauce
Symptoms: Peeing a ton. Braxton Hicks contractions. Lightening vaginal pain. I have to walk very slow now because it hurts otherwise. Very tired. My legs are swollen from water retention.
Movement: Moving a little less this week.
What I am looking forward to: Meeting our son, so exciting!
Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory....

My little boy is 16 Months!
I can't believe my little angle is 16 Months old! He has such a little personality and is a handful just like his mommy was. He loves to throw tantrums when he doesn't get his way with something. He will just roll around the floor screaming, or try to bite you and throw something. We usually just let him calm down and then talk to him when he calms down. We also try to acknowledge why he is upset or angry so he knows we are taking his feelings into account. I recently read a book on toddler tantrums and it taught me a lot about the lack of control they have when they fly off the handle.
Max loves to walk around and we have bought him sooo many pairs of shoes! He thinks he is such a big boy now that he can just walk up the stairs like we do. Obviously he can't without our help but it always makes us laugh when he tries. He loves to be outside, especially out on the grass. He still loves to take off caps to things and put them back on. We do this thing with him where if he does something really well we all clap which gets him so excited. The funny thing is he is always the first one to clap now which melts my heart.
Daddy and I call Max's penis his "pinilingus" and we love to take his diaper off and say "where is max's pinilingus" which makes him run away and smile. Ever since we started that he has taken a huge liking to his private part and loves to touch himself. I guess he is a totally normal healthy little boy haha
Poor little man caught himself the Croup from his cousins and has been sick for a week now. Steve had to take him to the doctor so he could get a liquid steroid to open up his throat since he has such an awful cough. Now he still has the cough but it sounds a little better and a horrible stuffed nose. We have been turning on his air purifier in his room which I think helps him breathe.
He loves to run around and still has trouble if there is something even slightly raised on the floor he easily trips. But he is definitely a great walker and it makes life so much easier. We started Mommy and me class which is great for him. He gets very shy around strangers so it takes him a few minutes to warm up. The class is in a quasi gym and they do activities with them such as blowing bubbles, teaching sing language, playing with balls, signing etc. It has been difficult with my pregnancy so I have taken a break the last two weeks but i will make up the classes as soon as his brother arrives.
