Over the weekend the Northeast was hit by a horrific storm. It was sooo windy and the rain wouldn't let up. Never in my life have I seen weather that bad. Trees were down everywhere. I was getting calls from friends to stay over since nobody could get home given the street closures. My parents house didn't fair too well, neither did the rest of town. More than half the town was out of power and as of Sunday afternoon we were one of them. The hotels were completely booked out and our cell phones had no battery. We packed up our things as it was getting dark and headed into the city to stay with my mother in law. Today we are hearing that the power might not come on until Friday!!! We are hoping that isn't the case, but for now we will be staying in Queens. Here are some pictures from the storm and some recent ones of Max.
