Max catches pneumonia

Poor little Max started off with Croup and a bad case of diarrhea before we left for Maine. Once we got back he got Croup again, however this time it wasn't getting better after the first night. Instead it progressively got worse the following two nights. So the first day of school I yanked him out of class early and had Nikki take him to the doctor. They asked us if he had had a fever and we said no, but something wasn't right. They dismissed him saying he had a virus and so we went home. That evening his fever shot up to 104 and he was a mess. I called my girlfriend Ellie and switched doctors to her new practice and brought him in. That is when she informed us that he had right side pneumonia. She put him on a steroid and Medication for ten days to clear it all up. It took a few days but he is on the mend :)
