24 Weeks old

I am going to change the format a little and start posting bullet points in terms of what he has learned to do, and what he still can't do. That will help me remember when he started doing certain things and it will be easier to read.

- He has started to roll around and loves doing so on the floor

- Still no teeth, but teething like crazy

- Still sleeping on his stomach, although now he can roll himself back onto his back

- We tried Peas and he hated them. We are still feeding him butternut squash which he loves

- Still can't sit on his own

- Besides those two attempts at crawling, we haven't seen much of that

- He loves to talk, but you can't understand a word.

- His feet can touch the floor in the exersaucer and he loves to bounce around.

- Can hold his own bottle when he wants to for up to a minute

- We gave him a buzz cut today

- He is still sleeping through the night but lately he starts crying a little an hour or two after he goes down. I think it's his teething, so I go upstairs and rock him a bit and give him some Tylenol. He goes down with no problem.

- We have finally figured out the winning formula for him, even though he has been sleeping through the night for weeks now, we find following this schedule helps a lot with putting him down with no fuss:

6pm feeding him solids
6:15pm play with him before bath time
6:30pm Bath time
6:45pm Feed him bottle in dark room and rock him after he is done
7pm Put him down when he is still awake...
7:05pm he is passed out

- He loves to grab ones face and touch

- Still loves holding stuff and puts them immediately into his mouth
