Today we are heading to Chicago to visit my best friend and her family. She has a son who is 3 months younger than Max who we are meeting for the very first time and I'm so excited to dote on him! As for my little man, here are some things that are new:
- Max loves sitting in his booster seat at the table with us. He now has a personality and loves to engage.

- He can hold his own bottle a little longer these days

- It is still very difficult for Maria (his nanny) to get him to nap during the day. In his defense there is major contruction going on outside and so the noise is bothersome. When she does get him to nap he looks so sweet with his little blankie

- He has started to say Daddadadadada and his "words" have become more clear even though they don't actually mean anything...does that makes sense?
- I guess they are right about a baby's eye color changing until they are 6 months old because his went from blue, to hazel and just last week they turned brown.
- He still can't sit or crawl but I don't think thats far off
- He now loves my reading glasses and takes them off me and plays with them. It won't be long before he breaks them urghhh
- He slept well this week with no early evening crying
- He adores his Nanny Maria, who is staying with us at the moment until she finds a nice home. We love her and what she does for our family and really lucked out with her.
And as always he loves to smile:
