My little boy turned 1 years old!

I can't believe my little boy is one! This year has been one of the best and most rewarding years of my life while at the same time also the most trying. I adore my growing little family and I love the life we have created for ourselves here in Connecticut. The house is a dream and being so close to our family is priceless. The commute has been tough and the hours make for a long day but given the tough times I'm just very grateful to have a job. Steve and I are trading together now and we really enjoy it. We had the most amazing time in Necker Island with family and friends celebrating my dads 60th birthday. Max got bitten pretty badly by insects and came back looking like he had the chicken pox. We flew back the day of Max's first birthday so we celebrated among family the day after which falls on Tia Mari's birthday. Since Steve's birthday is four days after Max's we decided to celebrate all three in one shot. It was the perfect day and Max loved all his new toys, especially the chocolate cake.
