Jake is already 10 Months old!

My little juice bug as I like to call him these days is turning into quite the little trouble maker. He loves to explore his surroundings and open and close doors or drawers while climbing under tables. Luckily he has not slammed his fingers in a door yet but I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen one of these days. He now has seven or eight teeth with more on the way. He is trying to crawl on all fours yet still gets around doing the military crawl. He loves to talk even though he can only really say dadda and mamma, and that not even all the time. Knock on wood he has yet to get sick which is something I'm so grateful he has avoided. He has not managed to stand up yet but he can get into the sitting position on his own or get on his knees. He still sleeps like an angel which is great. Steve started to give him his bottle in his crib but now he wants none of that and only wants to be fed by one of us. Which of course I'm more than happy to oblige with. I enjoy our little cuddle sessions in his rocking chair and putting him down. I remember loving those special moments with Max and I love them just as much with Jake.

I can't get enough of exploring the world with Jake now that he is becoming older and more aware of his surroundings. He still adores his brother and will look for him at all times. The hair on his testicles have disappeared and so that is something we don't have to worry about.

Jake loves to make this clucking sound with his tongue which is quite impressive. He still laughs all the time and is just the juiciest little love bug. I can't get over how fast time goes by, in two months he will be one already! Another birthday party I will have to plan. I'll be happy to be able to get rid of the formula though. He still has his bottle every three hours. Most bottles are 6 ounces, with his nap and bedtime bottle being 8 ounces. He wears a size 4 diaper and eats his pureed foods that I either make or that comes in this amazing organic pouch that we found. He has still only eaten blueberries or his cheerios and crackers. Once he gets a few more teeth we will start to feed him more solids. He is very tall and still a very big boy which is probably why he hasn't be able to pull himself up yet. Either way he is turning out to have a very adventures personality which we love!
