Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory....

August 2013- Max 3 years 9 Months/ Jake 2 years 4 Months
So I have been really bad about blogging over the past year and I want to change that. The last couple of months have been super hectic with the sale of our town home and the purchase of our very first house. We couldn't be happier here and the kids love having a backyard. The boys are growing so fast and are so delicious.
Here is a small summary about the boys:
Max:
Max is one of the most gentle, sweetest boys you could imagine. He is SUPER smart and loves to learn. He picks things up very easily and loves to help out. He considers himself the "Man of the House" when daddy is gone and he relishes the role. He loves his little brother and the older they get the more they play together. That doesn't mean the two of them don't fight ALL THE TIME. If its not one kicking the other, its the other punching. They now share a room which is going well. The night time routine is set and they love to read their books together with one of us and then we tell them a story which is usually about diesel and diesel ten. Max loves animals, especially chameleons. Ever since I showed him a video of one one changing colors he is obsessed and loves to go to the pet store and see them.
Max just finished his first year of pre school and will soon start Pre-K 4's. He just finished his second year of summer camp and loved it. He enjoys playing temple run on my phone and watching Thomas the Train. He goes to the bathroom on the toilet now, but still wears a diaper at nighttime. We will be tackling that problem by year end. He no longer naps which is nice. I still cant' believe he will be 4 years old in a few months!
Jake:
Thinking of my little man Jake makes me laugh. He will ask you ten times a day "what u doing?" in this sweet way of his. He talks up a storm, and unlike his brother we have nothing to worry about in the talking department. His vocabulary is incredible at such a young age. He loves watching Dora and Diego, more like obsessed. He is stubborn and loud and takes no nonsense from anyone, and yet he is the sweetest move loving little boy. He copies whatever his brother does, which sometimes isn't the greatest thing, but he totally adores his older brother. We are teaching him how to go on the potty which he now does, however we haven't been very strict with him and keep his diaper on at all times. Both boys love being outside at the playground, or in the backyard where they love to play with balls or the baby pool we have.
