First Trip to Manhattan via Train

This past weekend I decided to take the boys into Manhattan and have some fun. They have wanted to get on a train for a while now and we did just that. Max was in awe of the train and just enjoyed the scenery while asking a million and one questions. Jake was also very well behaved and watched his paw patrol while they both snacked on some cheerios and fishies.

Once we got to grand central, a woman approached me to tell me how cute my boys are and how well behaved they were on the train. The boys had to pee so we went to my office so I could show them were mommy works and they could use a clean bathroom. Once done we took a cab to the Central Park Zoo and wandered around there looking at bats, penguins, birds and all sorts of animals. The boys even got their picture taken at the petting zoo with a goat.

After that we walked to FAO Schwartz and grabbed a Mr Softee on the way. Max got chocolate ice cream all over his shirt and when I went to change him into another one who got so upset. He gets super shy around people and nudity, even though he was only taking his shirt off. The boys loved FAO, Jake especially enjoyed meeting Spiderman who he kept high fiving. They both got a toy from there, Jake chose Olaf from the movie Frozen and Max got Hero from Thomas the Train. We then took a bike cab to Rockefeller center to have dinner at a hamburger joint where Steve met us before we all went to visit Daddy at work.
