Many have asked us why we would shave our sons head, our answer is simple: In many cultures it is customary to shave the head of a young baby and my husband is from Argentina where they do it. I have seen his cousins get it done, and they all have a beautiful set of hair. It grows in all at once and looks very strong and healthy. As strange as I find it looking at my son with a shaved head right now (nothing a hat can't fix), I'm really excited to see it grow.
We found someone to do it for us in Miami and she did a fantastic job. We taped the entire thing, and he didn't cry or mind the process at all. Here are some pictures of him getting it done:
