Every weekend should be like this...

Full of relaxation, world cup soccer, lots of family time and tons of laughs. Steve and I are obsessed with world cup soccer and have so much fun watching our teams play (Argentina, Switzerland and USA). Naturally when Argentina played on Saturday morning we got all dressed up in our gear and watched it on the big screen in our basement.

We bought Max a new scooter and a book (he loves soft books that he can squeeze and play with):

He still loves eating and since we bought him the high chair it has been so much easier to feed him. He always tries to grab his food and eat it himself, it's pretty funny:

Sunday night was the best. We blasted the music in our kitchen, baked some cookies and just had a silly time with Maxi and the dogs. We both agreed, life doesn't get much better than this and we are loving parenthood!

Here are some pictures from tonight:

- Maxi has been teething like crazy and has been crying early evenings when he goes to bed. Luckily the latest he gets up is 11pm so we have still been able to get a good nights rest.

- He has been getting shiners and red blotches on his face. I still think it's an allergic reaction but the doctor said no. He has his 6 month check up this week so I'm going to ask again

- He loves to roll around and I would say he is a month away from crawling

- He still doesn't sit on his own for very long.

- He can stand on his two feet and we can let him go for a few seconds

- I think he is starting to develop separation anxiety within our home. He has been starting to cry a lot when he can't see me or I walk away. He also bursts into tears when we watch soccer and start yelling during goals. Poor little man gets startled which he never used to.

- He adores the dogs and tries to talk to them whenever he sees them.

He has his 6.5 month appointment this week, I'm dying to know how much he weighs and how much he has grown. xoxo

  1. LOL. I saw this and was going to comment the exact same thing you commented on my post. Yup. Looks like Maxi and Logan are both doing the exact same things!

I LOVE your pics! Such a beautiful family you have! :)
